Radiolive — Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
Radiolive is an iOS application owned, developed, and distributed by Rue S.r.l. (“Rue”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use Radiolive (the “App”). It replaces earlier privacy notices published for Radiolive under prior arrangements (different publisher). A snapshot of the previous policy (hosted on iubenda) remains available for reference only at iubenda.com/privacy-policy/37072389; the current data controller is exclusively Rue S.r.l.
Our website is covered separately: www.rue.xyz/privacy-and-cookie-policy.
2. Data controller
The sole data controller for Radiolive and for personal data processed through the App is:
Rue S.r.l.Via Enrico Mattei 106
40138 Bologna, Italy
Email: [email protected]
3. Types of data
Depending on your device, App version, and settings, the App and its partners may process categories including:
- Usage data: for example interactions with the App, session or diagnostic metadata, and similar information generated while you use the service.
- Identifiers and trackers: technologies such as cookies or SDK identifiers used for analytics or advertising, where enabled.
- Advertising identifiers: such as Apple’s IDFA or similar device identifiers used for advertising or measurement, where permitted by the platform and your choices.
- Device logs: technical logs used for reliability and crash monitoring.
Some data is collected automatically when you use the App; other processing depends on your consent or device settings (for example Apple’s “Allow Apps to Request to Track”). When you play a radio stream, your device may connect to third‑party broadcasters or their providers; those parties process connection data under their own policies.
4. Purposes of processing
We process personal data for purposes that typically include:
- providing and maintaining the App;
- analytics and product improvement;
- advertising and measurement (where used);
- infrastructure monitoring, stability, and security (including crash reporting); and
- complying with law and responding to lawful requests.
5. Third‑party services
The following types of services have been used in Radiolive (or equivalent successors). Which services are active can vary by App version and configuration. Each provider processes data under its own policy; we summarise the role and provide links so you can read the full terms.
5.1 Advertising
Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited) — in‑app advertising. Data may include identifiers and usage data related to ads. See Google’s explanation of how partners use data: Google’s partner policy and Advertising technologies.
Meta ads and measurement (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — for example conversion tracking linked to campaigns on Meta technologies. Data may include trackers and usage data. See Meta’s Privacy Policy and ad settings / opt‑out options linked from that page.
5.2 Analytics
AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd) — mobile attribution and analytics. Typical data includes identifiers and usage data. AppsFlyer Privacy Policy. You may contact AppsFlyer regarding privacy requests at [email protected].
Meta / Facebook measurement — SDK features for app events and analytics as described in Meta’s policies (historically referred to as “Facebook Analytics for Apps” in older disclosures). See Meta Privacy Policy.
Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc.) — product analytics. Typical data includes trackers and usage data. Mixpanel Privacy Policy.
5.3 Infrastructure monitoring
Bugsnag (SmartBear / Bugsnag) — error and stability monitoring; may process device logs and related technical data. Bugsnag Privacy Policy.
6. Opting out of interest‑based advertising
In addition to controls inside the App or each provider’s tools, you can use industry resources such as Your Online Choices (EU), the Network Advertising Initiative (US), the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), DAAC (Canada), or DDAI (Japan), where applicable.
On mobile, the DAA’s AppChoices app can help manage interest‑based ads across participating apps. You can also limit tracking or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings (for example Apple’s Privacy & Security settings).
7. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate bases such as:
- your consent, where required (for example for certain trackers or ads);
- performance of a contract or steps before it (providing the App);
- compliance with a legal obligation; and
- legitimate interests (for example security, anti‑fraud, product improvement), where not overridden by your rights.
Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
8. How and where we process data
Processing uses electronic tools and service providers (processors) bound by appropriate agreements. Data may be processed in the EU, the UK, the US, Israel, or other countries where providers operate. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we use safeguards recognised under applicable law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, or security requirements, unless a longer period is permitted by law. When retention ends, we delete or anonymise data where feasible.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access, rectify, or erase your personal data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent‑based; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We respond within the time limits required by law (typically within one month for GDPR requests, subject to extensions for complex cases).
10. Children
The App is not directed at children below the age where parental consent is required in your region. If you believe we have collected data from a child without appropriate authority, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Other information
Legal claims. We may use personal data where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or when required by public authorities.
System logs. For operation and maintenance, the App or providers may collect technical logs (which can include items such as IP address in server logs) as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Changes. We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Where the law requires, we will seek renewed consent or provide additional notice.
